Refund Policy

Last updated October 29, 2026

This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be available for services provided by yourshop.expert. It complements our Terms of Service.

This is a starting template aligned with the 30-day refund approach described on the site. It is not legal advice — review and customize it before relying on it in production.

30-Day Refund Window

For qualifying new engagements, if you are not satisfied with the working relationship within the first 30 days of paid work, you may request a refund of fees paid for that engagement, subject to the conditions below.

The 30-day window begins on the date of the first paid invoice for the engagement (or the start date stated in the proposal, whichever is later).

How to Request a Refund

Send a written refund request through the contact options on this site within the 30-day window. Include your name, project reference or invoice number, and a brief reason for the request so we can process it promptly.

What Is Covered

  • Fees paid directly to yourshop.expert for the qualifying engagement within the refund window
  • Unused prepaid hours purchased for that engagement, where applicable

What Is Not Covered

  • Third-party costs you incurred (Shopify plans, apps, themes, stock assets, advertising spend, etc.)
  • Work already approved and launched to production where you received clear value and did not raise concerns during the window
  • Engagements explicitly marked as non-refundable, rush, or fixed-price exceptions in writing
  • Requests submitted after the 30-day window has closed

Partial Refunds

If substantial deliverables have already been completed and accepted, we may offer a partial refund reflecting remaining unused time rather than a full refund. We will explain the calculation in writing before processing.

Processing Time

Approved refunds are typically issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after approval. Timing can vary depending on your bank or payment processor.

Chargebacks

Please contact us before filing a payment dispute so we can resolve the issue directly. Filing a chargeback while a good-faith refund review is underway may pause the review until the dispute is resolved.

Changes

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. The policy in effect when your engagement begins applies to that engagement unless we agree otherwise in writing.
